According to Chinese Times, the 2020 Asia-Pacific Art Biennial, organised by the Interstellar Asian Artists Association, Chinese Times Media Group and other participating bodies, was scheduled to take place from Wednesday, 1 January 2020, to Saturday, 4 January 2020 at the Exhibition Hall of the Hong Kong Central Library

It is understood that the purpose of this exhibition was to strengthen cultural and artistic exchange among countries and regions across the Asia-Pacific, promote mutual learning and support, broaden international perspectives, and reflect the spirit of a new era through diverse forms of artistic creation.
The works on display were to include oil painting, watercolour, traditional ink painting, modern ink painting, photography, sculpture and contemporary plastic arts.
According to the organising committee of the 2020 Asia-Pacific Art Biennial, preparations for the exhibition were proceeding in an orderly manner and had also received strong support from relevant government departments and individuals. This edition attracted participation from cultural and artistic professionals, experts, scholars and enthusiasts from around the world, contributing to the promotion of cultural and artistic exchange in the Asia-Pacific region and allowing Asia-Pacific arts and culture to shine with even greater brilliance.
